My name is Chris Draper, and I've been a Product Manager at Cloudflare for going on four years now. Specifically, I'm the Product Manager for the CF1 Monitoring team which is foucsed on helping customers monitor and troubleshoot across their Zero Trust and Network Service products (Access, Gateway, Magic WAN, Magic Transit, etc.).
Before joining Cloudflare, I was a network automation engineer. I have hands on experience with network automation, network monitoring, and building out network architecture in a data center. I've had lots of really impactful learning experiences as a network engineer like waking up at 3:00 AM to run firewall redundancy drills in one of the largest data centers in Atlanta (Digital Realty - ATL13 - 56 Marietta Street).
As a PM at Cloudflare, I leverage my background as a network engineer to understand our SASE customer's monitoring and troubleshooting needs. This enables the CF1 MON team to build impactful troubleshooting products and tools (like Digital Experience Monitoring) that make it easier for customers to troubleshoot their network connectivity and performance problems.
I've had a lot of opportunities to lead sessions focused on SASE with many customers at Cloudflare including Connect 2024 in NYC, and five different Immerse sessions so far this year (Houston, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver), as well as roughly 10 other prior customer sessions throughout my time at Cloudflare.
