Michael Baker is a Principal Security Engineer at Canva responsible for the technology decisions and engineering across the group. Michael works on Canva-wide business problems related to security. This includes content moderation, data classification and access control. Michael was Canva’s Head of Security prior to moving to an engineering role. Before Canva Michael worked in Amazon’s Blue Team across the Detection, Forensics and Incident Response teams. Michael was also the co-founder and CTO of Packetloop, a Big Data Security Analytics startup acquired by Arbor Networks in 2013.
